Which wr to start week 2

So there you are. You know, I thought about sitting Jones this week because Dan Arnold was getting a lot of love. Even Tavon Austin was getting into the mix. We drafted them late for a reason. Obviously, if you have Mike Williams and Marvin like I do in a number of leagues you can make some adjustments. I faded Beasley during the offseason because I felt like it was just a matter of time before Emmanuel Sanders passed him up in this offense.

But now it looks like Dawson Knox is getting a lot of opportunities, as well. And at some point, I expect to hear from Gabriel Davis as well. Really good. Besides Dolph is really good at comedy. As good as Dolph is as a worker, he might be better as a comic. Moore to the moon this season.

And if Christian McCaffrey is back this week, then it moves him down the pecking order as well. The matchup seems good enough. And I might end up regretting this one. It seems like I bless a receiver each week by making him a sit. Even Rondale Moore. Consider those guys sits as well, but again, for my hard-working edit desk who are subjected to my stupid movie and wrestling references and weird analogies, they deserve a break.

Also, we have a rankings page that Michael F. Florio does for us. All the answers you're looking for about your lineup questions. Corey Davis vs. Patriots 1 p. ET, CBS : Davis could be tough to sit after his two-touchdown performance last week, but this week's matchup against the Patriots is a tough one. The Jets will also have Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole back this week, which splits the target pie into more pieces.

Marquise Brown vs. Chiefs p. However, I wouldn't chase the points as a tough matchup against the Chiefs is next on the slate. Their defense has allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers in their last nine games, not to mention the fourth-fewest yards per game. Michael Pittman Jr. Rams 1 p. ET, FOX : Pittman was a popular streamer last week, but he failed to make an impact with just three catches on four targets in a loss to the Seahawks.

Since Week 9 , Los Angeles has allowed just three touchdowns and the second-fewest fantasy points to enemy wide receivers. Click here to read all his articles here on SI Fantasy. Those are your core pieces, and you don't change how you view them based on one week. It's football, weird things can happen in any given week. And that principle should apply to the guys in the top 20 at the position, at least.

There just shouldn't be much change there after one week, with the lone exception for me coming with the ascendance of Antonio Brown into the top 20 for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Davis NYJ.
